Terms of Use
Tummidoo — version 1.0, effective 10 October 2026
What Tummidoo is
A personal diary for people with ulcerative colitis and other inflammatory bowel disease. You record stools and symptoms; the app shows them back as today’s counts and a 30-day history, reminds you to log, and lets you export everything. It does not diagnose, does not evaluate disease activity, gives no treatment advice and is not a medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745. Talk to your doctor before any decision about your health, and seek urgent care when you need it — the diary is no substitute.
Operator
Jan Páv, sole trader, Kovanecká 2110/14, Libeň, 190 00 Praha 9, Czech Republic, ID No. (IČO) 01990764, registered in the Czech trade register. Email support@tummidoo.app, web https://tummidoo.app, phone +420 776 899 419.
Price
Tummidoo is free. An optional paid “support the app” purchase may be offered in future, unlocking extras such as custom symptom types; it will be sold through the App Store under its own price and terms, and the diary itself stays free.
Account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple or with a one-time code sent to your email. You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your device and account secure; activity under your account is your responsibility. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; all your records are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Use the app only for your own diary. Do not try to access other people’s data, overload or disrupt the service, circumvent its security, or use it in a way that is unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Your data
Your entries are yours. You can export them at any time. How we process them is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Connecting an AI assistant is your choice and takes place under that provider’s own terms.
Availability and warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that it is free of errors, and we may change, suspend or remove features. Keep your own exports; we are not liable for lost data or for decisions you make on the basis of the diary. Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows; mandatory consumer rights and liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence are unaffected.
Ending the service
You may stop at any time by deleting your account. We may close an account that breaches these Terms. If we discontinue Tummidoo, we will announce it in the app and by email where we have one at least 60 days in advance so you can export your data; after that date the data is deleted.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept them.
Governing law
Czech law applies; mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live is unaffected. Disputes are heard by the courts of the Czech Republic. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz) or the EU online dispute resolution platform. The licence to the app itself is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
